A set of 3 organic european waxed cotton ditty bags. Each water resistant bag is treated with a combination of beeswax and oils. Waxed cotton was used from the mid-1800's until the 1950's when nylon and PVC became available. These bags are stiff, durable and will keep your possibles and tinder dry.

Many clients and friends use it to store various items they didn't have a proper classic bag for! The density of the material makes it perfect to withstand mountain work and isolate the equipment from water, due to the naturally water resisting properties of cotton canvas; or if you want an even more waterproof finish, due to the hydrophobic properties of the wax and oil treatment. It works as an excellent seat or work surface, knee pad, etc.

This is an ideal tool to take along on your next hiking adventure or camping trip! They're convenient and light, it means that it will be there when you need it most: whether for sitting upon in campgrounds after cooking over a fire pit; kneeling down while walking through wet brushwood with kindling and tinder boxes clutched within our hands; resting atop moist logs during those long hours searching for something unusual among these proud trees... and more importantly than any of this…. An artisanal Oilskin Bushcraft Pot Bag with extra Pockets for your kit. The Bushpot Bag is made of 10 oz Oilskin fabric. It will hold a cook set and twine, cooking utensils, seasoning, fire starting device, and much more. Colors available are our iconic Mountain Brown and Forest Green; and pulls shut with a 100% Spanish leather string and a wooden toggle made out of olive wood. The enforced pocket seams will be extremely durable thanks to the rivets we added. This is an ideal tool to take along on your next hiking adventure or camping trip! Carrying your firewood back to camp or to the cabin has never been easier! Our Oilskin & Leather Log Carrier is a convenient way to carry firewood; built from sturdy and reliable 10 oz. 100% oiled and waxed cotton canvas, it has been added heavy duty premium leather handles and reinforcement bands made from 6 oz. full grain cowhide, and will quickly develop a handsome saddle tan patina. Our signature Oilskin finish has been applied and allowed time to soak through the canvas, making the bag highly durable and water repellent, for those dewy mornings or rainy evenings. It will keep your wood protected from nearby water, and if the wood itself is a bit wet, it will protect the area you leave it on. It can of course act as a mat to do some work on, and many of our friends have tried using it as a chair by hanging it from two nearby trees. Bushcraft Spain's Bushcraft Wax is a product for the impregnation of oilskin and other wax products. It makes the cotton water-repellent and good-looking. First, clean the product, if necessary with a little bit of water. Let it dry and then rub the wax care from a can with a lint-free cloth or shake the spray before use and apply. With this product you can restore the original tightness of your clothing, textiles, tents, tarpaulins or awnings. You maintain your oilskin equipment at the same time and maintain its value over a long period of time. This compound is also an interesting option for LEATHER, WOOD and even keeping CARBON STEEL tools in wet environments after a layer of the cream.
