Carrying your firewood back to camp or to the cabin has never been easier! Our Oilskin & Leather Log Carrier is a convenient way to carry firewood; built from sturdy and reliable 10 oz. 100% oiled and waxed cotton canvas, it has been added heavy duty premium leather handles and reinforcement bands made from 6 oz. full grain cowhide, and will quickly develop a handsome saddle tan patina. Our signature Oilskin finish has been applied and allowed time to soak through the canvas, making the bag highly durable and water repellent, for those dewy mornings or rainy evenings. It will keep your wood protected from nearby water, and if the wood itself is a bit wet, it will protect the area you leave it on. It can of course act as a mat to do some work on, and many of our friends have tried using it as a chair by hanging it from two nearby trees. We are so proud of all our products that we guarantee this log carrier to be able to hold up to 200kg (450lb) If you can carry the load, the Log Carrier will too! These carriers can be cleaned with a damp rag, or a brush with water and soap if a deeper cleaning is needed. Welcome to Bushcraft Spain's top product. Camp anywhere under your own oilskin tarp. The long staple cotton product we use, finished in an oil and wax formula, is a wonderful tarp for tarps and shelters. The ample and solid 3×3 meter canvas weighs around 4kg / 8.8lb and will shelter you during your wilderness adventure. All tarps are finished with a large number of loops (19) on all four sides and along the centre seam. Its layer of wax and oil provides resistance to water, which will slide down the tarp, thus making it very waterproof. We were pioneers in the manufacture of Oilskin Tarps in Europe and we have paid all our care to their composition: all the loops are resistant, since they must withstand the constant pulls of the elements and we add extra resistant central reinforcements along the seam central for those who want to use the tarpaulin as in the diamond or plow-point configuration. The thread is of great strength and the stitches with attention to detail.

WHAT IS MERINO WOOL?
Merino wool is a natural fiber grown by Merino sheep (oveja merina). It originated and was improved in Extremadura in the XII and XIII centuries, being instrumental in the economic development of Spain, which held a monopoly on the trade in its thinner and softer wool. We choose to work with Merino wool because it’s one of the most adaptable materials on Earth: each fiber naturally helps regulate body temperature, transports sweat away as a vapor, and cancels out odors; these benefits make it the ideal performance material for exploring nature. Every single woolen item in our store is 100% Made in Spain, respecting the old ways of wool processing, our cattle, our artisans and our clients. Our machinery is over 100 years old and it doesn’t look as if it will quit anytime soon. Finally, the fabric is exposed in the dry and sunny days of the valleys of León to get rid of any moisture. We love taking care of the process as much as you will enjoy taking it in your adventures. It’s in our tradition and spirit. Due to popular demand, we present to you our storage bags. They are specially designed to keep your tarp, tent or ground cloth neat and tidy, during outings or at home. Many clients and friends use it to store various items they didn't have a proper classic bag for! The density of the material makes it perfect to withstand mountain work and isolate the equipment from water, due to the naturally water resisting properties of cotton canvas; or if you want an even more waterproof finish, due to the hydrophobic properties of the wax and oil treatment. It works as an excellent seat or work surface, knee pad, etc.
