We choose to work with Merino wool because it’s one of the most adaptable materials on Earth: each fiber naturally helps regulate body temperature, transports sweat away as a vapor, and cancels out odors; these benefits make it the ideal performance material for exploring nature. Every single woolen item in our store is 100% Made in Spain, respecting the old ways of wool processing, our cattle, our artisans and our clients. Our machinery is over 100 years old and it doesn’t look as if it will quit anytime soon. Finally, the fabric is exposed in the dry and sunny days of the valleys of León to get rid of any moisture. Our signature Oilskin finish has been applied and allowed time to soak through the canvas, making the bag highly durable and water repellent, for those dewy mornings or rainy evenings. It will keep your wood protected from nearby water, and if the wood itself is a bit wet, it will protect the area you leave it on.
