The long staple cotton product we use, finished in an oil and wax formula, is a wonderful tarp for tarps and shelters. The ample and solid 3×3 meter canvas weighs around 4kg / 8.8lb and will shelter you during your wilderness adventure. All tarps are finished with a large number of loops (19) on all four sides and along the centre seam. Its layer of wax and oil provides resistance to water, which will slide down the tarp, thus making it very waterproof. We were pioneers in the manufacture of Oilskin Tarps in Europe and we have paid all our care to their composition: all the loops are resistant, since they must withstand the constant pulls of the elements and we add extra resistant central reinforcements along the seam central for those who want to use the tarpaulin as in the diamond or plow-point configuration. The thread is of great strength and the stitches with attention to detail.

Merino wool is a natural fiber grown by Merino sheep (oveja merina). It originated and was improved in Extremadura in the XII and XIII centuries, being instrumental in the economic development of Spain, which held a monopoly on the trade in its thinner and softer wool. We choose to work with Merino wool because it’s one of the most adaptable materials on Earth: each fiber naturally helps regulate body temperature, transports sweat away as a vapor, and cancels out odors; these benefits make it the ideal performance material for exploring nature. Every single woolen item in our store is 100% Made in Spain, respecting the old ways of wool processing, our cattle, our artisans and our clients. Our machinery is over 100 years old and it doesn’t look as if it will quit anytime soon. Finally, the fabric is exposed in the dry and sunny days of the valleys of León to get rid of any moisture. Many clients and friends use it to store various items they didn't have a proper classic bag for! The density of the material makes it perfect to withstand mountain work and isolate the equipment from water, due to the naturally water resisting properties of cotton canvas; or if you want an even more waterproof finish, due to the hydrophobic properties of the wax and oil treatment. Waxed cotton was used from the mid-1800's until the 1950's when nylon and PVC became available. These bags are stiff, durable and will keep your possibles and tinder dry.

Sale!Daniel Carter Beard, one of the founders of the Boy Scouts of America, was the first to talk about the Forester's Tent, a light and reliable tent that offers a wonderful cover from the elements. The front of the tent is around 210cm (7ft) wide and 180cm (6ft) tall, while the rear is 90cm (3ft) both tall and wide, allowing to accommodate a camper comfortably, and even the rucksack; the length is about 240cm (8ft), with very little effort 2 campers can have a wonderful shelter with space for their equipment. It is meant to be used with a campfire in front of it so as to profit from the warmth: the design of this Forester Tent provides a sleeping place that won't condensate nor let water in, if pitched correctly. There are many ways to set -up this tent, you can use a big bipod in front of it, you can build a tripod as the very frame of the tent, and even using a long pole from a broken tree is possible, if you use it as a beam for the interior of the tent it can leave throuh the opening at the back; with some rocks you can find around you can secure the sides of the shelter, you won't need any tools! Made of a reliable, and traditional organic 100% cotton fabric; the way they were made. This is our tribute, don't settle for less: cotton fabrics are more breathable, more authentic, naturally UV-resistant, and they are available in Forest Green and Natural Canvas (and Forest Green or Mountain Brown for our oilskin version of the Forester Tent), for setting up camps that are perfect for hunting and trekking.
