This tarp is an amazing addition to the equipment that any survivalist and trekker needs. This functional vintage 2.5m x 1.4m (98″ x 55″) oilskin tarp stands up well against wet and dirty ground, making it a wonderful option if you need a ground sheet as well. Weighing 1.2kg (2.5lb)
Oilskin is naturally water and fire resistant, being able to act as an emergency rain-proof outer layer. Its layer of wax and oil provides resistance to water, which will slide down the tarp, thus making it very waterproof. It works wonderfully as a water resistant cover for our 100% Merino Wool Blanket, the two together will be very handy as an Eco-Friendly basic bed roll.
