Waxed cotton was used from the mid-1800’s until the 1950’s when nylon and PVC became available.
Our 10 oz waxed bag is a versatile pouch whose interior measures 18cm x 9cm (7″1/4 x 3″1/2). The other side of the bag is a big pocket that measures 18cm x 16cm (7″1/4 x 6″1/4).
It features a waxed cotton cord that wraps around the bag and is held closed by a spanish leather cord attached to an olive wood toggle. The entire bag measures 26cm x 18cm (10″1/4 x 7″1/4) when open and around 18cm x 9cm (7″1/4 x 3″1/2) when closed.
