This poncho is a very versatile piece of clothing that will double as a throw blanket in a pinch. Wear it comfortably, as it will provide a very wide range of motion and good warmth AND ventilation! You will not feel clammy using this poncho, it will get rid of the excess humidity while retaining that desired warmth. Time to sleep? This is a wonderful twin size blanket as well, just add it to your sleep system for increased 100% natural insulation.
Shetland Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere. Wool will also absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.
